About this Course

The Lifesaving Society Swim & Lifesaving Instructor course uses a competency-based model that walks candidates through teaching and evaluation philosophy and the techniques/ approaches required to teach water rescue, first aid, and related aquatic skills. You will be able to teach the Swim for Life® program, Canadian Swim Patrol, Lifesaving Fitness, Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, and Bronze Cross. Course dates: March 28, 29, 30, April 4, 5,6. Mandatory lesson observation April 11 from 3:30-6:30pm. Mandatory lesson participation April 13 from 3:30-6:30pm & April 15 from 9:00am-12:00pm. Course wrap up April 15 12:30-2pm
