About this Course

The Lifesaving Society Swim & Lifesaving Instructor course uses a competency-based model that walks candidates through teaching and evaluation philosophy and the techniques/ approaches required to teach water rescue, first aid, and related aquatic skills. You will be able to teach the Swim for Life® program, Canadian Swim Patrol, Lifesaving Fitness, Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, and Bronze Cross.
